Apple has announced the release of exclusive enhanced editions for Harry Potter Series on iBooks for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac. The enhanced edition contains interactive animations, artwork, annotations by the author and more.
The beautiful animations and artwork, as reviewed in the sample downloads by yours truly, really add a new dimension to reading the books. The books also have typography, section headers and other such formatting which is exclusive to Harry Potter. As someone who has never read the Harry Potter series before or even seen the movies, I am finally intrigued to try one of the books just for the enhancements.
Unlike before, users do not have to purchase the books from the Pottermore Shop. They can be purchased directly from the iBooks app.
