Focus modes in iOS 15 allow users to create custom focus modes in which they can allow certain apps and people to contact them while they are busy with work, mindfulness, driving, etc. You can also create a Fitness Focus mode on their device which can automatically be enabled whenever you start a workout on your Apple Watch or start a Fitness+ workout.

With this Focus mode enabled, you can solely focus on your workouts without any unwanted interruptions from apps or people. Here’s how to create a Fitness Focus mode for workouts:

  1. Launch Settings > Focus.
  2. On the next page, tap on the ‘+’ (plus) icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen.

  4. Once you have selected it, tap Next on the subsequent page. Now, select the contacts that you want to allow when Fitness Focus mode is enabled. Tap on Allow.

  5. Then, choose the apps you want to receive notifications from when you’re working out. You can also choose to only allow Time Sensitive notifications to come through.Fitness Focus Mode
  6. On the next screen, you will be asked if you want to enable Fitness Focus mode automatically when you start a workout with Fitness+ or Apple Watch. Tap on Turn Fitness on Automatically or Skip.Fitness Focus Mode
