GV Mobile is an app that allows users of Google Voice to save on calls and text messages. You can dial a number from your iPhone address book or simply type in the desired number. It supports full SMS features, it also allows you to look through call history and playback and delete voicemails.
Since Apple blocked this app from their App Store recently, the creator Sean Kavocs decided to release it for free on Cydia. Here’s how you can get the free app:
- You need a jailbroken iPhone.
- Launch Cydia and go to search.
- Type in GV Mobile.
- Tap the app and tap install on the top right.
- Your iPhone should reload and you should be able to find the app. Enjoy!
I ran jailbreak twice on my ipod touch 2nd gen … it ran but both times the ipod only boots to the apple. HELP
