Apple has announced its “Scary Fast” event for October 30, where it is expected that the company will announce new Macs equipped with an M3 chip. The rumored product announcements include a refreshed 24-inch iMac and updated 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models.
Recently, a mysterious leak on X (Twitter) substantiated that a refresh of the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M3 chip will be unveiled only a few after the launch of M2 Pro and M2 Max chips at the start of 2023. Built on the advanced 3nm process, the M3 is expected to feature an 8-core CPU (four high-performance and four efficiency cores), 10-core GPU, higher unified RAM support, and increased core clock speeds to improve overall efficiency than M2 series chips.
The company is also expected to announce the following products:
- Magic Mouse with USB-C to be announced at Apple’s October 30 event
- Apple could release 12 and 13-inch lower-cost MacBook models at Scary Fast event
