Apple has released iOS 15.3.1 and iPadOS 15.3.1 for compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch models. The update features a fix for Braille displays and a security patch for WebKit.

Like iOS 15.3, this is yet another minor software update. It features a fix that could cause Braille displays to stop working with iPhone and iPad
iOS 15.3.1 provides important security updates for your iPhone and fixes an issue that may cause Braille displays to stop responding.
A security patch for a WebKit flaw is also part of this release. Apple notes that this issue may have been actively exploited so we recommend that you update as soon as possible.
Available for: iPhone 6s and later, iPad Pro (all models), iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch (7th generation)
Impact: Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.
Description: A use after free issue was addressed with improved memory management.
CVE-2022-22620: an anonymous researcher
Apple previously released iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3 which featured a fix for a security flaw that could allow malicious applications access to users’ private Apple ID information or recent in-app search terms. The update also changed some text in settings to clarify how iCloud Private Relay works.

Install iOS 15.3.1 and iPadOS 15.3.1
The new update can be downloaded and installed by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Make sure that your device has at least 50% battery charge, and is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network, before starting the update process.
If you are an advanced user, you can also download iOS 15.3.1 and iPadOS 15.3.1 IPSW firmware files to manually update your device, or restore it by connecting it to a Mac or Windows PC and using Finder or iTunes. This is useful in situations where you want to perform a clean upgrade by wiping all the data on your device, or downgrade your device while Apple is still signing the software update.
