Apple releases iOS 17.0.1 and iPadOS 17.0.1 with critical security fixes

Apple has released iOS 17.0.1 and iPadOS 17.0.1 software updates for iPhone and iPad users. The updates plug several security vulnerabilities, all of which have reportedly been exploited in the wild.

Apple just released iOS 17 to the general public earlier this week with new features for Messages, FaceTime, Health, widgets, etc., as well as a new StandBy mode and Journal app for iPhone, the expansion of the Health app to iPad, and Contact Posters for the Phone app.
