A new leak shows us an exclusive first look at what iOS 19 may look like. This is a leak from Jon Prosser, who has created a replica of the design mockups that he has seen first hand, to avoid his sources getting into any challenges. As per recent rumors, the design takes inspiration from visionOS, and features a lot of rounded corners, circular icons, translucency and glass effects.
This is not the first time that Prosser has given us a glimpse at iOS 19 design through a mockup. Back in January 2025, he shared a mockup of the upcoming redesigned camera app, and just a day ago, he showed a mockup of the Messages app redesign. But in the latest YouTube video that he has posted, he reveals almost everything that users would want to know about the upcoming major software update.

To be honest, unlike the hype behind it, the video does not really reveal too much that we haven’t seen before from Apple. If you have been using the Apple Sports and Invites apps, you have already gotten a glimpse straight from the Cupertino giant as to what iOS 19 would be like in terms of design.
With that out of the way, Prosser’s video can be summarized into the following:
- Lock Screen will have some translucency and more rounded and floating look to elements
- Permission popups also have the circular corners treatment, floating feel and glassy finish.
- Apps like Messages and Camera will have rounded buttons, glass treatment, and floating elements.
- Keyboard will also have more circular keys and feel like it is floating.
So that’s pretty much it: rounded corners, floating feel, circular button, lots of glass and translucency effects.
You can watch the complete video below which walks through all the mockups:
As with all things Prosser, there is already some drama associated with his leaks. Gurman has chimed in on Threads and said:
iOS 19 images floating around aren’t representative of what we’ll see at WWDC. They look to be based on either very old builds or vague descriptions, missing key features. Expect more from Apple in June. Regardless, mockups – real or not – are always exciting for Apple watchers.
This is as generic a statement as anyone could post on social media about the leaks so nothing new there. Of course, Prosser wouldn’t have seen the final build of iOS 19 since it’s a work in progress. We doubt many people in the world have seen a complete build at this point in time, which has all the features that different teams are working on, including future Apple Intelligence updates. Make of that what you will.
Regardless of the leaks and drama, Apple announced that it will host WWDC25 on June 9 2025 where the next generation iOS software update will be official revealed.
