iOS goes underwater with Google Earth 3.1

After Android, now Apple dives deep into the ocean. Google has released the latest Google Earth 3.1 app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch that lets you explore the ocean and ocean layers on your portable iOS devices.

One can now explore underwater canyons or travel to the ocean’s cordial point, for example, the Mariana Trench with the latest release. With a swipe or stretch of two fingers, users can gaze around in the ocean. To reorganize the view, you just need to click on the North arrow on iPad, iPhone or iPod just like in the PC or Mac version.

This version of Google Earth uses the Retina Display capabilities of iPhone 4 and the new iPod Touch to give more sharper, vivid and colorful  experience.

Google Earth can be downloaded from the Apple iTunes App Store
