At Apple’s latest “Peek Performance” event, it debuted the next-generation iPhone SE and iPad Air. Both devices are available for preorder from today along with new “Green” and “Alpine Green” colorways for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Apple now accepting preorders for 2022 iPhone SE, iPad Air, and green colorway for iPhone 13
The new iPhone SE, powered by the A15 Bionic chip, features the same design as its predecessor with a 4.7-inch Retina HD display and Home button, 5G connectivity, and up to 256GB of storage.
The smartphone features an upgraded camera system with a 12-megapixel ƒ/1.8 aperture Wide camera powered by the A15 Bionic chip. Due to the camera upgrade, the smartphone offers Smart HDR 4, Photographic Styles, Deep Fusion, and Portrait mode.
The budget-friendly iPhone starts at $429 and is available in three colors: midnight, starlight, and Product(RED).
The next-generation iPad Air features the M1 chip, a new 12-megapixel Ultra Wide front camera that supports Center Stage, up to 256GB of storage, and more. Along with a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display and a power button with Touch ID, the tablet comes equipped with a USB-C port enabling up to 2x faster transfer speeds and offers 5G connectivity on the cellular models.
The iPad Air 5 comes in five colors: blue, purple, starlight, space grey, and pink. Pricing for the Wi-Fi models starts at $599 whereas Wi-Fi + Cellular models start from $749.
The new color options for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro are also available for preorder from today. The variants offer the same features and internals as the models launched in September 2021. The lineup is powered by the A15 Bionic chip, offers improved 5G connectivity, a leap in battery life, and an upgraded camera system.
The “Green” iPhone 13 starts at $799, and the “Alpine Green” iPhone 13 Pro starts at $999.
The new devices will be delivered to customers starting on Friday, March 18.
