The launch of the new iPhone 15 Pro models is a couple of months away, and as we get closer to their debut, more and more information is pouring in about their design and other changes.
Images and videos of the alleged iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max cases, shared on social media, reveal that Apple has slightly repositioned the volume, mute and power buttons on the new models.

Previously, sources confirmed that Apple was not going to replace the physical volume, and power buttons with solid-state buttons with haptic feedback.
Now, images of re-released phone cases for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max show that the cut-out for mute, volume, and power buttons will be slightly larger.

And the comparison images of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max cases with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max cases shared by a Weibo account reveal the buttons are repositioned as well. They will be slightly lower than the buttons on the current Pro models.
It is also specualted that the mute button will be replaced with a customizable mute button which will work like the Apple Watch Ultra “Action button” for users to take photos and record videos.
The accessories also feature a slightly larger cut-out for the charging port which reconfirms that the new iPhones are finally going to transition to USB-C from Lightning charging port.
According to other leaks, the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro models will feature a new periscope lens in the rear camera system for improved optical zoom along with other under-the-hood changes. As Apple has repositioned the flash and LiDAR sensor to accommodate the periscope lens, the new Pro smartphones will have a redesigned rear camera module.
It is also reported that 2023 iPhone Pro models will be available in a new deeper and darker burgundy-red color, support 8GB of RAM and advanced Wi-Fi 6E, and feature a brighter 2,500 nits display.
