A Twitter account owned by TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared last-minute details about what to expect from the third-generation iPhone SE ahead of its official debut at Apple’s March 8 event, “Peek Performance“.

The tweet corroborates earlier reports about the device stating it will feature the same design as the current model, it will be powered by the A15 Bionic chip, and it will feature 5G connectivity. The tweet also reveals several new details about the device.
Some predictions for the coming new iPhone SE:
1. Mass production in Mar'22.
2. Estimated shipments of 25-30 mn units in 2022.
3. Storage: 64/128/256GB.
4. A15 & 5G support (mmW & Sub-6 GHz).
5. Casing: white, black, and red.

The tweet claims that the next-generation iPhone SE will add a new 256GB storage variant in addition to the existing 64GB and 128GB options. In addition, it says that the iPhone SE’s 5G capabilities will include both mmWave and Sub-6GHz 5G connectivity. The tweet further confirms that the budget iPhone will be available in the same White, Black, and Red color options with no new colors available. The tweet does not mention anything about the device’s camera.
Mass production of the new iPhone SE is set to begin this month with Apple expecting to ship 25 to 30 million units this year.
Apple is expected to unveil the third-generation iPhone SE at its “Peek Performance” event on March 8. The tech giant is also expected to debut the fifth-generation iPad Air alongside the iPhone with e the A15 Bionic chip, 5G connectivity, and improvements to the front-facing camera, which will be upgraded to a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and feature Center Stage.
Other products that could be announced during the event include Apple Silicon launches such as a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with an M2 chip, a MacBook Air with an M2 chip, and a Mac mini with an M2 chip, as per an EEC filing. It is likely that one of the two laptops models, entry-level MacBook Pro or MacBook Air will launch at the March event.
