Beats by Apple has announced a new limited-edition Beats Studio Buds headset in celebration of the Chinese Lunar New Year and 2022 is the “Year of the Tiger.” The special edition has an all-red color theme with golden stripes to represent good luck and tiger.
In February, Asian countries celebrate the Chinese New Year. The occasion is a time for families to get together and honor deities and ancestors and give gifts in red envelopes and packets. The red color is believed to bring luck in the new year, thus, the special edition of Studio Beats encapsulates that spirit.
For Lunar Year’s celebration in Japan, Apple has also launched a new limited-edition AirTag as part of its two-day promotion. From Jan 2 – Jan 3, 2022, customers in Japan will receive a free Apple gift card worth up to ¥24,000 with the purchase of select products and will also have the chance to get the limited-edition AirTag with cute tiger emoji’s engraving.
Order the limited-edition Beats Studio Buds on January 1, 2021
According to the company’s announcement, the new limited edition Beats Studio Buds will be available in stores starting January 1, 2021. Although the company did not mention the price, it is likely the new headphones’ edition will cost the same as the regular Studio Buds, $150.

Beats launched its first in-the-ear headphones, Studio Buds this year in June.
