$108,000 gold AirPods Max by Caviar coming in 2021

Caviar has announced its upcoming products in 2021, and gold AirPods Max are on the list. The luxury customization Russian company is known for designing smartphones, and smartwatches in precious metals and stones. In 2021, the company is launching customized consoles and shoes as well.

The listening experience on AirPods Max has blown-away almost everyone; their sound quality, transparency mode, active noise cancellation, and adaptive EQ are impressive. Their unique metal design is attractive and with a high $549 price tag, AirPods Max are heavier and more expensive than other wireless over-the-ear headsets. With the addition of gold and leather, Caviar has added not only a little more to AirPods Max’ weight but they’ve also added a lot more to the price tag, taking the luxury listening experience to a whole new level.

Caviar is offering Apple’s over-the-ear heaphones in two color options, black and white, with 18 karat gold in the ear cups, digital crown, button and trimmings in the headband, and adjustment rims. Unlike Apple, Caviar has embossed its logo on the ear cups and the side rings.

Retailing for $108,000, the luxury headphones will be sold without a case or Apple’s smart case. Apple ships the new over-the-ear headphones with a smart case which is necessary to put the headset in low power mode and turn them off when not in use to save battery. Therefore, Caviar buyers will have to invest in a third-party smart case for their ultra-luxury AirPods Max. And since Apple offers the over-the-ear phones in white and space gray, users can purchase new white and black ear-cups for Caviar AirPods Max from an Apple store.

Both headphone sets are available for pre-order on Caviar.com and will ship for free worldwide. The custom luxury designer came into the limelight when it launched a very heavy and very expensive iPhone 11 Pro Max model in the world for $137,770 called ‘Credo Christmas Star Diamond’. It also sells iPhone 12 Pro for $6,490 with a piece of Steve Jobs’ turtle neck and a camera-less iPhone 12 Pro for $4,990.
