Installation
macOS Monterey 12.5 beta is available for installation via Apple Developer Center as a restore image for Macs with M1 chip, or via beta profiles that can be used to enroll Macs in Apple’s developer beta program. We do not recommend that you install a beta on a Mac with M1 chip unless you know what you are doing. The restore process for M1 Macs is not as easy and straightforward as it was with Intel Macs.
If you already have your Mac enrolled in Apple’s developer beta program, simply go to System Preferences > Software Update, and the new beta download should appear.
