Xiaomi has confirmed that the new Mi 11 models will not be shipped with a power brick in the box, just like Apple. In October, Apple announced that for removing the power brick from iPhone 12, and Apple Watch Series 6 boxes for environmental reasons. The Cupertino tech giant aims to be 100% carbon neutral by 2030 across the board, therefore, the company argues that it ships more units in thinner and lighter boxes (without a power adapter) and cuts transportation carbon emission.
Like Samsung, Xiaomi too was quick to jump the gun and mock Apple for removing the accessories. Having said that, the Cupertino tech giant took out EarPods along with the power adaptor from iPhone 12 accessories in the box.
Mi 11 will not ship with a power adaptor like iPhone 12
Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun announced the new packaging on Weibo, and the stated reasons behind the decision were verbatim to Apple’s iPhone 12 keynote. Jun writes that the Mi 11 box will be thinner and lighter “to the call of technology and environmental protection” and that “today everyone has a lot of idle chargers, which is trouble and burden on the environment.”
Previously, the Chinese manufacturer took a jib at Apple for removing the power accessory in its Mi 10TPro model’s ad like Samsung which took the mockery to next level by running an ad campaign against Apple’s decision. However, right before the Galaxy S21 launch, Samsung is deleting those ads making fun of no power brick by Apple in iPhone 12 box. The rumor is the Galaxy S21 will not ship with a power adapter and most likely without headphones.
When Apple removed the headphone jack from iPhone 7 line-up, Samsung followed suit after, of course, criticizing the iPhone maker for doing so.

Xiaomi has not deleted its older tweet but is giving Apple reasons for removing the power accessory from the box and the users are not convinced. On the announcement post, people criticized Jun in creative ways.
Mi 11 is expected to launch on December 28, 2020. The new smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip and will offer 5G network support.
