The popular video streaming platform, Netflix has added a whole new “My Netflix” section on iOS for users to easily discover what to watch.
With increasing competition, Netflix is constantly introducing new features for subscribers to discover and watch new movies, shows, documentaries, and other content on the service. Previously, the company updated its “My List” feature for subscribers to easily find saved content to watch later on iOS and Android.
The “My List” section was added on Netflix mobile, TV, and web apps in 2013 as a personalized instant queue for users to save the movies and TV shows they would like to watch later, especially from recommendations, while completing their current show or movie.
‘My Netflix’ shows downloaded, liked, and other content to easily find something to watch
The new “My Netflix” tab is added on Netflix for iOS to display all the TV shows and movies users liked, saved, and downloaded content in the My List section, watched trailers, reminders they have set, recently watched content, and more, all in one place.
The new personalized one-stop shop will be updated automatically with new content as the users like more shows and movies.
When you’re on the move with your phone, go directly to My Netflix, where you can quickly choose something you’ve saved or downloaded to watch.
Keep in mind that the more you interact with and tell Netflix what you like, such as saving more action-thrillers like Extraction 2 to My List or giving a thumbs up to every season of Bridgerton, the more you’ll see on the My Netflix tab.
Currently, the new section is available on Netflix for iOS, and the company states that it will release on Android in early August.
