Last month, unreleased Beats Studio Buds+ appeared in iOS 16.4 RC. According to 9to5Mac, the new wireless headphones would be powered by an Apple chip and offer features like active noise cancellation (ANC), transparency mode, and others.
Now, a listing on Amazon has confirmed that Apple will launch Beats Studio Buds+ in May in an all-new transparent color option and advanced processor, improved ANC, battery, microphone, and more.
[Update; May 17, 2023: New Beats Studio Buds+ are now available for $170 in three color options: Transparent, Black, and Ivory. The new wireless headphones feature up to 1.6x better Active Noise Cancellation, 2x better Transparency mode, and 3x larger mics for clear calls than Beats Studio Buds. It delivers up to 36 house of listening time with the charging case and is compatible with iOS and Android.

New Beats Studio Buds+ in transparent colorway appeared briefly on Amazon
Apple acquired Beats by Dre in 2014 and continued with the same branding. Since then, the tech giant has launched new Beats headphones along with AirPods models as sporty, colorful, and trendy options like Beats Studio Buds (first-generation), Beats Fit Pro, Powerbeats Pro, and others.
Now, Apple is going to debut the second-generation Beats Studio Buds+ next month as per the now-pulled Amazon listing. The upcoming wireless headphones will continue to feature to same stemless design and charging case as Beats Studio Buds but with significant performance improvements.
9to5Mac details that the new Beats Studio Buds+ will be powered by an Apple chip and offer a new audio experience with 3x larger microphones and an improved venting system for ear pressure, 1.6x ANC, 2x Transparency mode, up to 36 hours of battery life than it predecessor.
The upcoming headphones will also come with four ear-tip sizes, a USB-C charging case, improved automatic device switching on iOS and Android, one-touch pairing, and Hey Siri and Find My support for iOS.
According to the Amazon listing, Apple will introduce the Beats Studio Buds+ in an all-new transparent color option along with black and white. Like the Nothing Ear 2s headphones, the transparent Buds+ earbuds and charging case will also have translucent casings with a view of the internal components.
The new headphone would retail for $169.95 and will be available on May 18. As pre-orders were open in the listing, Beats Studio Buds+ was already sold out before it was pulled.
