As per a new rumor, Apple might release its next-generation MacBook Air in different colors like the ones that the new M1 iMac is available in. Next-generation MacBook Air to feature M1 Mac-like colors

The new leak has come from Jon Prosser, during his new video on his YouTube channel. Prosser has been correct on a few leaks in the past so he has a reliable track record by now. As per Jon Prosser, Apple’s next-generation MacBook Air, powered by an M2 chip, will ship in a variety of colors like the new 24-inch M1 iMac. Prosser also says that this leak is from the same source that told him about

Considering that MacBook Air design has remained unchanged despite its internals being upgraded to Apple Silicon, it is long overdue for a design upgrade. Apple is expected to launch its new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models this year with an iPhone 12-like design language, mini-LED displays, MagSafe connector, HDMI port, and SD card reader. It is highly likely that Apple will release an updated MacBook Air afterward.

Previous rumors have hinted that MacBook Air will get a mini-LED display that it will be lighter, will feature MagSafe, two USB 4 ports, and thinner bezels. Bloomberg reported that this new MacBook Air might launch in the second half of 2021, or early 2022.
