Last month, Engadget managed to get their hands on a working prototype of PlayStation Phone which is expected to ship with Android 3.0 gingerbreak and will have its own Sony Marketplace from where users would be able to buy and download games etc. Now it appears that the rumored phone may be coming soon enough with an official release announcement to be made next month i.e December 2010.
Now, you may ask how do we know that Sony might make such an announcement? Take a look at the image below which is an invite from Sony Ericsson, inviting the press to “the most anticipated presentation of the past 10 years”. If you notice at the bottom of the invite, you can see the 4 Playstation buttons, with a phone icon next to them. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to put it all together right?
