The award-winning iOS app, “Pok Pok Playroom” has introduced a new “Shops” feature for kids to indulge in an immersive and comprehensive shopping experience as a buy and seller.
Developed by Pok Pok, the “Pok Pok Playroom” is an educational app for kids 2-6 and older to garner their creativity and learning through independent play. Winner of Apple Design Award and Editors’ Choice Award gives young minds complete freedom to explore Pok Pok Playroom world which is not bound by any rules and language. Now the app has launched a new experience for young learners.

The new “Shops” feature offers a whole new roleplay experience on Pok Pok Playroom. Keeping the “learning through schemas” strategy at the heart of the app, the new toy: Shops brings five unique stores with so much to do.
- Bistro + bakery to get to play the role of the customers as well as the business owner. They learn to run their service establishments by cooking, baking, restocking, customer care, and more.
- Clothing boutique to sell or buy gifts.
- Plant store to purchase seeds, grow own plants and flowers, arrange flowers in a vase,
- Pet shop to teach pet care for cats, dogs, geckos, spiders, tarantulas, and others. They can bathe, dry, brush, dress, and feed pets.
The aforementioned activities are some of the ways through which kids can interact in the Playroom. As there is no right or wrong way, young have the freedom to use their imagination to explore Shops.
There are many opportunities and many different ways to interact with all of the little small businesses, and all of them are great. Does your kid like to “play by the rules”, or play by their own rules, like sneaking some pet food into a donut? Great! They are learning no matter which way they play!
