Powerbeats Pro to debut in 4 new colors – Glacier Blue, Cloud Pink, Lava red, and Spring Yellow

According to a posting on Weibo, a Chinese social network, Apple’s brand Beats will soon announce new Powerbeats Pro buds in four new colors.

There has not been any official announcement nor an update on the online store from the company yet. But the rumor mills claimed that the alleged colors coming soon are Glacier Blue, Cloud Pink, Lava red, and Spring Yellow.

The new 2020 Powerbeats Pro passed through FCC in mid-April but no major updates are expected in the buds apart from new color improvements. Parker Ortonlani from Buzzfeed shared a quick concept of what these new vibrant earphones might look like.

Powerbeats Pro’s available color options

Currently, Powerbeats Pro are only available in very subdued colors. These colors include Black, Ivory, Navy, and Moss, which were updated back in August 2019. Adding new colorful options will likely attract new customers looking for unique colors to match their taste. It is also possible that Apple may replace some of its pre-existing colors with the new ones.

Powerbeats Pro

Powerbeats Pro is powered by the same H1 chip seen in AirPods for fast connectivity, hands-free “Hey Siri”,  long battery life, touch playback controls, and fitness-focused features. The buds can provide up to nine hours of power between charges and are also capable of 24 hours of battery life with its magnetic closure case.

Leaks have often emerged on Weibo in the past which have turned out to be true. However, these leaks are not confirmed yet – but let us hope they eventually are, as these four new colors can easily attract new fitness-focused customers looking to match their headphones with their gear.
