Productivity app, Reality Tasks has added support for FaceTime SharePlay for iPhone, iPad, and Mac users to share collections in real-time.
Announced at the WWDC 2021 event, the FaceTime SharePlay feature was released in iOS 15.1 update with native support on Apple TV+, Apple Music, and Apple Fitness and a few third-party apps like TikTok, ESPN, Twitch, and others.
Now, more third-party apps are adding support for SharePlay like Reality Tasks for users to enjoy browsing sessions, have watch parties, or do collaborative work in real-time with family, friends, or followers. Earlier, the real-estate listings app, Zillow announced support for SharePlay for users to take virtual tours of houses with a partner.
Reality Tasks app now allows users to share collections in real-time via FaceTime SharePlay
The updated Reality Tasks app allows users to create to-do lists and now, they can share them in real-time with teammates, friends, or family members. They can also edit the lists in real-time via cloud sync capability. The release notes read:
You can now share collections easily via SharePlay! Share tasks by just clicking on the blue button in the bottom right corner.
After you finish your FaceTime call, you will be still able to edit the same collection in real-time due to the cloud sync. The feature works across iOS and macOS as well.
Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, Bob Borchers says SharePlay is designed to have shared experiences.

SharePlay leverages Apple’s integration of hardware and software to deliver a magical experience across iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, and works with many Apple services as well as some of the most popular apps in the App Store.”
Download the Reality Tasks app from the App Store for free and can purchase the monthly or yearly subscription plan. It is compatible with iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac and requires iOS 14. or later and macOS 11.0 or later, respectively. But to enjoy SharePlay, make sure that your devices are updated to iOS 15.1 or later and macOS 12.1 or later.
