Samsung goes back to its tradition of placing Apple products in its ads and making fun of them. It its latest ad on YouTube, Samsung proves that along with copying Apple’s designs, it also likes to copy their slogans. ‘It’s Not a Phone, It’s a Galaxy’ is the title of the new ad which makes mocks Apple’s ‘If it’s not an iPhone, it’s not an iPhone’ slogan.
The ad makes desperate effort to show off its new Samsung Galaxy S6 phones and their wireless charging capabilities. In between charging Galaxy S6, it also shows an iPhone without battery and incompatible with wireless charging.

Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ make multiple appearances in the ad. Samsung has used a funky hip hop track on the ad. It is Queen’s Speech Ep.4 by Lady Leshurr, for those interested. Samsung Gear S2 also makes a sneaky appearance at the end, right when Lady Leshurr says wristwatch.
Ironically, the ad specifies that the wireless charging pad is sold separately around which the complete ad is based.
Hey Samsung, time to let go of copying designs and slogans.
