Apple has finally made the official announcement of its upcoming ‘California Streaming’ special event to be held on Tuesday, September 14 at 10:00 a.m. from Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park in Cupertino, California on apple.com and other social media platforms.
Earlier reports had correctly predicted the event date and a recent promotional tease by UK carrier Sky Mobile suggested the same date as the announcement. Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Apple has been holding all events virtually and the new event will also be held digitally with no physically present media and other participants.
Here are all the expected next-generation products expected to launch at the Special Apple Event on September 14, 2021
To begin with, the next-generation iPhone 13 series will be unveiled at the event. Like iPhone 12 series, the smartphone line-up will also include four models: 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini, 6.1-inch iPhone 13, 6.1-inch iPhone Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max. Although the tech giant offered amazing technology in the latest flagship series, it is expected to offer even better tech in the upcoming iPhone series for faster performance, longer battery life, improved camera system, and much more.
Recently, an alleged GPU benchmark of the A15 Bionic chip revealed that it can deliver up to 198 FPS and even when it throttles, it delivers high performance than the A14 Bionic chip used in iPhone 12 and other Android processors.
Two new Apple Silicon MacBook Pro models are expected to launch. 14-inch and 16-inch M1X MacBook Pro models might feature a mini-LED display, flat edge-to-edge display, no Touch Bar, new fingerprint sensor, UH-II SD card slot, 1080pweb camera, and more. Rumor mills claim that the models were scheduled to release sooner but were delayed because of mini-LED production challenges.
Apple Watch Series 7 reportedly also has a new flat edge-to-edge design with a larger display, thinner bezels, and improved screen lamination. It will be powered by a faster S7 processor. A recent report claimed that it might also feature a blood pressure measurement sensor.
The entry-level wireless earbuds are getting a much-needed update this year. AirPods 3 will come in an AirPods Pro-like design with a smaller stem, oval-shaped earpiece, and a charging case. But it will retail for a more affordable price.
A slimmer and faster iPad 9 will be announced at the event, along with a redesigned iPad mini.
