If you’re looking to edit text or code, Textwrangler might be the most handy all-in-one text editor for Mac OS X. With dynamic support for coding(I am debating whether to continue my current builds in Xcode or move to Textwrangler) and a nice, intuitive interface, Textwrangler is the best free text editor I have used on my Mac. It’s available for free through the Mac App Store here. Give it a try- you might find it well worth your time.
