For the third time now, Google is holding its ‘Doodle 4 Google’ competition for US resident K-12 students.This time around the theme is “If I Could Do Anything, I Would..”. Google is looking for creative and innovative ideas to complement the theme. The winner’s Doodle will appear on google.com on 27th May and they will receive a $15,000 scholarship. As if this wasn’t enough, the winner will also receive a laptop and a $25,000 technology grant for their school.
What’s new this year is that a panel of Expert Jurors and renowned illustrators, cartoonists and animators from organizations such as The Sesame Street Workshop and Pixar Animation Studios, will help narrow down the 40 finalists. The doodle should be submitted before March 31, 2010 no later then 11:59:59 P.M. Pacific Time (PT). Participants have to belong to registered schools and have to be U.S residants.
