Announced by the Mayor of London on Monday, the free program will be offered in the city from August 2 to August 29. The deadline for applications for the four-week program is 19 July, 5 pm.

The lineup of mentors includes Nile Rodgers, Celeste, Ashley Verse, Fraser T Smith, Jay McGregor, Ms. Banks, Charlie Sloth, Dotty, Melle Brown, and many more. The programs being offered are created by Apple in collaboration with Reprezent, and Spotlight.

Two programs are being offered with Apple Creative Studios. The music program with Spotlight offers the option to write and record a track in a professional studio environment with the chance to get it played on Brixton radio station Reprezent 107.3FM. The program offers direct exposure to the industry and leading artists.

The radio program with Reprezent offers the chance to produce and present a radio show to feature live on Reprezent 107.3FM over the August bank holiday weekend.

Produce and present a live radio show on Reprezent 107.3FM in a free, full-time immersive programme happening this August. Learning from major names in the broadcasting world, you’ll master on-mic and interviewing skills, transform raw audio into slick, professional-sounding features and explore how to get your show out there. You’ll get direct exposure to the industry and find out what broadcasting is like from the inside.

Launched in June, the Today at Apple Creative Studios initiative helps young people develop their creative skills. This is provided through a team of professional mentors as well as access to Apple’s products and services. The program first launched in Los Angeles and Bejing and is expected to come to Bangkok, London, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. later this year.
