The new subscription tier brings exclusive features and perks to enhance users’ experience on the platform. The social media company clarifies that “a free Twitter is not going away, and never will.”

The new ‘Twitter Blue’ subscription offering brings Undo Tweet and other exclusive features and perks
In its initial phase in Australia and Canada, the new subscription offering will make users’ experience on the platform more expressive, entertaining, and personalized. It includes the following features and perks:
- Bookmark Folders allows users to organize their saved tweets so that, “when you need it, you can find it easily and efficiently.”
- Undo Tweet feature enables users to preview and revise tweets before posting them.
With Undo Tweet, you can set a customizable timer of up to 30 seconds to click ‘Undo’ before the Tweet, reply, or thread you’ve sent posts to your timeline. Correct mistakes easily by previewing what your Tweet will look like before the world can see it.
If there was one thing users wanted on the platform was the ‘edit’ button. The matter got such attention that during the COVID-19 pandemic, Twitter promised to give users an edit button if they wore a mask. And now users can get it for a fee.
- Reader Mode turns long threads into an easy-to-read text, so users can enjoy a continuous reading experience. “Reader Mode provides a more beautiful reading experience by getting rid of the noise.“
- Personalization options to change app icons on their device’s Home Screen set preferred color themes for the app, and have access to subscription’s customer support.
