A reverse engineering expert, Jane Manchun Wong has discovered that Twitter is testing a new “Undo Send” feature on the app. Currently, the social media platform does not offer the option to edit or undo a sent-out tweet, and users have to delete the post if they are unhappy with the shared tweet. However, Twitter allows users to ‘Undo Retweet’ option to retract a retweet.
In a survey taken last year, users’ most popular demand was to get an ‘edit’ feature on the platform. And during the COVID-19 pandemic, Twitter tried to use that demand to encourage its global community to wear masks by saying that it will give the users an edit button when everyone wears a mask.
Twitter’s new ‘Undo Send’ option will allow users to retract sent tweets
As per the shared clip, the undo send option will appear when a user has sent out a tweet. After that, he/she will have a five seconds window to retract the posted message.

Wong also discovered that the company is working on a new ‘private’ setting for Spaces. Users will be able to make the restrict who can join in the Space conversations but that will not affect the current speakers and listeners.
In December, Twitter announced it was testing an invite-only, audio-chat room feature, Spaces like the popular app, Clubhouse. “Spaces will allows users to share audio clips in tweets and direct messages. Users will also be able to create their own rooms for others to join, and they’ll have control over who can speak in those rooms. It’s “a small experiment focused on the intimacy of the human voice.”

The company has been actively revamping the platform by introducing new engaging features like Fleets, Spaces, anti-trolling features, features to spread misinformation, and others. Recently, Twitter also announced that it will launch a subscription-based “Super Follow” feature on the platform for creators, influencers, celebrities, and others to earn money by offering exclusive content to followers.
