If you’ve updated your iPhone 4 / iPhone 3GS to iOS 4.3.2 and jailbroken it using latest versions of sn0wbreeze or PwnageTool preserving your device’s baseband, then this unlock is for you. iPhone Dev Team has released ultrasn0w 1.2.2, an update to their software unlocking tool which was previously broken on iOS 4.3.2 and required ultrasn0w fixer from DJayB6 to work. Now it works seamlessly with 4.3.2 iOS and unlocks any iPhone 4 / 3GS with one of the supported basebands.
Following are the basebands currently supported by Ultrasn0w 1.2.2:
- 01.59.00
- 04.26.08
- 05.11.07
- 05.12.01
- 05.13.04
- 06.15.00
If your device has one of the above basebands and is jailbroken on iOS 4.3.2 with latest sn0wbreeze or PwnageTool, follow these steps to unlock it with ultrasn0w 1.2.2:
Step 1:
Open up Cydia and tap the Manage button at the bottom. Now tap Sources and hit the Edit button on the top and then tap Add. Type this repo address:
http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com
Step 2:
When you tap Add Source, just wait for it to upgrade.
Step 3:
Once done, search for ultrasn0w (sn0w with a zero not an O) in the Search tab at the bottom. Tap it and press Install at the top.
Step 4:
Wait for it to install and then reboot your iPhone 4 / 3GS. When it restarts, you should be able to use it with any carrier you want!
Enjoy!
