WordPress has updated their app for iPhone and iPad with a useful new visual editor which enables ‘what you see is what you get’ content creation.
The WordPress app is one the most used apps on my iPhone and it is always good to see them add new features and improvements to the app. The app lets users blog, read other blogs, manage their websites and stay up to date with realtime traffic stats.
The blog post editor in WordPress app was never the best feature of the app but with the new update, version 4.8, it is actually a lot more useful thanks to the WYSIWYG content creation. Other tweaks in the update make the app a lot more easier to use such as the navigation update and ability to edit image settings.
Here’s the complete changelog from WordPress:
- New visual editor for ‘what you see is what you get’ content creation
- Option to edit image settings in posts and pages
- Ability to rety failed image uploads
- Updated navigation to separate site management and account settings
As always, the app is free to download for iPhone and iPad.
