Assassin’s Creed Mirage coming to iPhone on June 10

Ubisoft is bringing Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the latest installment in the popular Assassin’s Creed series, to iPhone and iPad on June 6th. This marks another significant step for Apple’s push into higher-end gaming experiences on its mobile devices.

Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be available on the App Store on June 6th. The game will be compatible with iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPad Air and iPad Pro models equipped with the M1 chip or newer. Pre-orders are already open on the App Store, with a release date initially set for June 10th.

In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, players take on the role of Basim, a cunning street thief with nightmarish visions, seeking answers and justice. After an act of deadly retribution, Basim flees Baghdad and joins an ancient organization called
“The Hidden Ones.” Players will explore ninth-century Baghdad, experiencing an open-world action-adventure game that serves as an origin story for Basim.

In Assassin’s Creed® Mirage, you are Basim, a cunning street thief with nightmarish visions, seeking answers and justice. After an act of deadly retribution, Basim flees Baghdad and joins an ancient organization – The Hidden Ones. As he learns their mysterious rituals and powerful tenets, he will hone his unique abilities, discover his true nature, and come to understand a new Creed – one that will change his fate in ways he never could have imagined.

The game will be free to play for the first 90 minutes. After that, users can unlock the full version with a single $49.99 in-app purchase. Assassin’s Creed Mirage offers the same experience on iPhone and iPad as its console counterpart, with optimized touch controls and support for Bluetooth controllers.

To play Assassin’s Creed Mirage on iPhone, users will need a device running iOS 17.0 with the A17 Pro chip. Currently, only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max support the game. For iPad users, the game requires iPadOS 17.0 or later and the M1 chip or later.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage supports cross-save and cross-ownership through Ubisoft Connect. This means players can seamlessly continue their playthrough on different platforms, such as PC or PS5, on their iPhone or iPad.
